FASoS – Theories

This is a page for FASoS BA and MA programmes where you can find a range of theories that are covered during our programmes. Are you stuck on your paper or thesis? Here you can get some inspiration and a small reminder of what theories you might be able to choose from.

The brief theory descriptions in this repository have been created collaboratively by the FASoS teaching staff and offer a starting point for the students' research. As theories are often contested and develop over time, the descriptions and resources provided here cannot be final or complete. In fact, the term wiki comes from the Hawaiian expression wiki wiki, which means "very quick".

Please note that the sources linked are tertiary sources (handbooks and encyclopaedias), and as such, should be used to find useful books and articles rather than as sources in literature reviews in their own right.
